Is this the same data as the state's ND DWR site?
Same source — ND DWR is the official record. The state site is built for hydrogeologists; this report finds the wells near your parcel, computes the local numbers, and explains what they mean for a purchase decision. The free lookup shows you a preview first.
Will the report include my own well?
Only if a log for it was filed with the state. ND DWR holds what drillers actually submitted, and plenty of older wells were never registered; North Dakota also files wells by section rather than by street address, so no record is tied to a single lot. What the report always answers is what the water does around a property — which wells the drillers around it actually filed, and a way straight into each of those logs. What if my address isn't found?
Rural addresses sometimes don't geocode. Reply to your receipt with coordinates from Google Maps (right-click → copy) and we'll generate the report from those — or refund you, no questions.
Does it tell me my exact well outcome?
No — geology varies. It tells you which wells your neighbours drilled and where their filed logs are, so you can read what they actually hit. That's the best available evidence, and exactly what a good driller looks at before quoting.
